| Echo - Counting Bodies Created: 2/21/10 Song: "Counting Bodies Like Sheep to the Rhythm of the War Drums" Artist: A Perfect Circle Made this for the Art in Motion Contest on Youtube. This is basically about Echo and everything she's gone through in the Dollhouse (both seasons), but also the other dolls like Victor, Sierra, Whiskey, November, and Alpha. I sort of used Echo to tell everyone's story. I really wanted to show how scary and twisted the Dollhouse is, cuz erasing minds, turning people into slaves, killing peope, etc....It's pretty dark stuff. And so this is about how much Echo has suffered - Everything they've done to her and how she eventually starts figuring things out, becoming self-aware, and then by the end, she's the one "counting bodies" :) Probably the most FX-intense vid I've done as of yet. Basically, we had to illustrate an epic scene from any movie or TV show using music, effects, flashbacks, etc. This is a scene between Lucas and Peyton that takes place just after Peyton has been shot in the school shooting, and she and Lucas are hiding out in the library. This scene is about a lot of things - it's about childhood and innocence, and life, and death, and especially love (Brooke/Peyton, Lucas/Peyton).
